Spec E46 Splash Shield Brackets

Tired of zip tying the sides of your engine bay splash shield to the frame, or just hoping the leading edge of the bumper captures it?  Yeah, us too.  These replace the factory plastic pieces(51718235246/51718238419 and 51717893129/51717893130 on ZHP's) which usually end up trashed at some point and also include mounting holes for a transponder(plastic mount not included). These work with the factory 1/4 turn fasteners that come with the factory splash shield(51718268344), so a Phillips screw driver is all that's needed to remove the splash shield, no mixing and matching of hardware. These fit both sedans and coupes.

The part number for replacement 1/4 turn screws is 07147177492, and the white plastic retaining washer is 51718212163, the splash shield is secured with 7 of each.  Genuine BMW splash shields come with these included, the knock off ones typically don't and are usually a very flimsy material that doesn't hold it's shape, we recommend going with the Genuine BMW splash shield.  If you need 3 replacement "nuts" for the 1/4 turn fasteners on the front of the skid plate their part number is 07146981767.
